He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Melvin A. Owen; his sister Penny Isom (Stacey); his niece Abigail McDonald (Jacob); his nephew Heath Wesley Isom; his cousin Jonathan F. Saylor; his mother Linda F. Owen; and his grandparents, Max, Sadie Saylor, J. P. and Opal Owen.
In Lieu of Flowers; the Family of Mr. Owen has requested that donations be made to the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge Association in Decatur, Alabama.
