He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Lang and Wilma Jean Chaney Lang; his wife Sylvia Lang; his son James Rickey Lang, Jr.; and his siblings, Jerry Lang, Bobby Joe Lang, Ronnie Lang, Gail Holmes, Shirley Mote and Tammy Lang.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Wilson and Lindsey Walker (Kevin); his grandchildren, T. J. Turney (Michaela Bohy) and Logan "Chop" Walker; his sisters, Debbie Blackmon (Charlie) and Lynn Alexander (Mark); his niece Hannah Ervin (Joseph); and his nephew Billy Miller (Kayla).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
