He was predeceased by: his parents, Erskin Brown and Marie Slaten Brown; and his brother Bobby Joe Brown. He is survived by: his wife Diane Brown; his daughters, Kym Brown, Kelly Scarbrough and Amy (Matt Gerards); his granddaughters, Lexi Scarbrough and Allison Scarbrough; and his brother Larry Brown (Juney).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Old Brashiers Chapel Church.
