It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Lawayne Griggs of Arab, Alabama, who passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Otto Griggs and Flora Arlene Johnson Griggs; and his brother Joe Griggs. He is survived by: his wife Kathi Griggs; his children, Jeremy Griggs (Leslie) and Jennifer Gilbreath; his grandchildren, Crimson Chambers, Jaxon Griggs and Graylyn Gilbreath; and his siblings, Glennis Griggs and David Helton.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Shriners Burn Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave. # 3018 Cincinnati, Ohio 45229, which was an organization Mr. Griggs treasured dearly.
