He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Silas A. Ponder and Mildred S. Cox Ponder; his wife Kathy Lou Mason Ponder; his stepsons, Jason Golden and Kevin Golden; his daughter Amanda Schuknecht (Chris); his stepdaughter Tammy Williams (Mike); his siblings, Glen Ponder (Barbara) and Betty Reisenweber (Ken); his stepsister Sandy McKelvey; his grandchildren, Morgan Ponder and Cody Mayo; and his stepdaughter Heather Golden. He was also cherished by step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
