He is survived by: his children, Jeff Waddell (Melinda), Kathy Kelly (Jason), Jesse Waddell (Mary) and Elizabeth Waddell Schirmer (Lee); and his siblings, Joel "Joe" Lee Waddell (Christy), Barbara Vess (Kenneth), Paula Waddell and Janie Tucker.
