She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Phillips and Stella Fortenberry Phillips; her husband J. D. Holaway; and her siblings, Floyd Phillips of William Phillips, Mammie Maze, Effie Johnson and Alene Holaway.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Jane Minor (Joe) and Vickie Ann Gentry (Jimmy); and her grandchildren, Donnie Weaver, Jana, Janna Whisenant, Richard, DeAnn Gentry-Haney and Mark. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
