He is survived by: his wife Sue Hutcheson Beard; his son Timothy Scott Beard of Arab; his brothers, Don Beard (Evelyn) of Bessemer, AL, Joe Beard (Margaret) of Scottsdale, AZ and Jeff Beard (Sara) of Bessemer, AL; and his pet Sparky. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
