She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Baines Wilson and Eva Jane Huston; her husband Robert Glen "Bob" Whitney; and her sister Nancy Wheeler. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Handle; her granddaughters, Katie Scott and Jennifer Cady (Jestin); and her great grandchildren, Ava Scott, Noah Scott, Isaiah Scott, Hannah Cady, Jaynah Cady, Dylan Riggs and Ross Cady.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to Arab First UMC Building Fund or Shepherd's Cove Hospice.
