She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Belford Donald and Robert Pearson Ellis, Jr.; her son-in-law Joey Yarbrough; her brother-in-law Jeff Reed; and her niece Karen Beeler.
She is survived by: her husband Ed; her daughters, Stephanie Reed Yarbrough of Arab and Lezlie Reed-Johnson (Marc) of Guntersville; her sister Susan Purdom (Wayne) of California; her grandchildren, Reed Yarbrough, Ellis Yarbrough of Arab, John Wesson Johnson of Guntersville, James Ed Johnson of Guntersville, Ellie Johnson of Guntersville and Millie Johnson of Guntersville; and her great grandchild Mary-Alice Yarbrough. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Arab Memorial Cemetery (565 S Main St, Arab, AL 35016).
