She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence L. Brownell and Hazel E. Grundy Brownell; her husband Leonard Earl Higginson, Sr.; her son John Warren Higginson; and her sisters, Louise Twitchell and Carolyn Solamon.

She is survived by: her sons, Leonard and Mark L. Higginson (Julie Parish); her grandchildren, Lindsey Higginson, Morgan Condra (Luke), Paige Higginson (Clay Weaver), John Higginson (Andrea), Madison Gibbs and Gavin Green; and her great grandchild Ronan Condra.
