He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gurtis Cantrell and Mattie Lee Weaver Cantrell. He is survived by: his wife Doris Dunn Cantrell; his children, Culley Cantrell (Cynthia), Wesley Cantrell (Brandi) and Holly Cantrell Baggett (Jason); his grandchildren, Annaleigh Baggett Holt (Austin), Dawson Cantrell, Alden Baggett, Claire Cantrell, Aubrey Baggett and Cohen Cantrell; and his pet Ginger.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). The lying in state was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gilliam Springs Baptist Church (1351 N Brindlee Mountain Pkwy, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
