He was predeceased by: his wife Myralyn Sams; and his parents, Otis Sams and Lillie Maude Sams. He is survived by: his children, Mark Sams (Jan), Matthew Sams and Jane Sams; his grandchildren, Ariel Sams, Drew Sams (Becca) and Pat Sams (Star); and his sisters, Mary Sams and Judy Harmon.
