Walter Russell IV Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Russell IV of Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 30. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter Russell, Jr. and Dorothy "Bunt" Russell; and his stepgrandfather Daniel "Pappy" Hale. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Russell; his parents, Barbara Russell (Tom) and Walter Russell III (Jeannie); his sister Emily Lackey (Justin); his grandparents, Launa Hale and Preston Thompson (Rosemary); and his nephew Kade Scott Gowens. He is also survived by several step siblings; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders) in Buddy's memory, in hopes of helping to find a cure for XMEN syndrome, which he fought throughout his life. Buddy was passionate about finding a cure for his disorder and your donation would mean so much to him.
