He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy Lemley McDaniel; his son Patrick Kelley McDaniel; his parents, William Clarence and Ruby Wright McDaniel; and his sister Faye McDaniel Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Beth McDaniel Johnson, Sherlyn McDaniel McWhorter (Corey) and Michael Allen McDaniel; his brother Bobby McDaniel (Diane); his grandchildren, Juli Wilborn, Kendall Wilborn, Ava Johnson and Reese McWhorter; and his brothers-in-law, William Lemley (Phyllis) and John Lemley (Mike Selk). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
