She was predeceased by: her husband Maylon Forbus; her daughter Sandra Forbus; her parents, Samuel Capri and Maude Capri; and her sister Virginia Holland.

She is survived by: her son Brian Forbus (Alicia); her grandson Trey Forbus (Heather); her great grandchild Shane Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Thrasher and Virginia Cole. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to be made to Betta View Hills Church of Christ in Thelma's honor.
