He was predeceased by: his father L. B. Edwards; and his daughter Amanda Edwards. He is survived by: his mother Margie Lea (Troy); his children, Kristy Gannaway, Scott Edwards (Amy), Shelby Vice (Mark), Jennifer Edwards and Jessica Swope (Jason); his siblings, Allen Edwards (Sandra), Charles Edwards (Sonya) and Phyllis Mims; and his pet Max. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
