It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Laverl Burkett (Anniston, Alabama), who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Terry Laverl may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Terry Laverl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Doris Burkett (Maroney); and his sister Jeanette Marie Burkett. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sons, Bobby Fitch (Casey) and Russell Fitch (Leslie); and his siblings, Chris (Debra), Scott (Tonya), John (Lesilee) and Donna Jo (Rick).
