She was predeceased by: her husband William Slaughter; her son Tommy Mitchell "Lynn"; her parents, Luther Jenkins and Selma Jenkins; her siblings, David Jenkins "Butter", Dorothy Murray and Gladys Alexander; and her granddaughter Brandi Finley.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Lovvorn (Randall), Lisa Teague (Tyrone) and Sidney Slaughter "Chub"; and her grandchildren, Crystal Barnett, Jessica Slaughter, Jennifer Slaughter, Michael Garcia (Brittney) and Angelica Smith (Pelham). She is also survived by children, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (542 W 52nd St, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
