He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thomas Kent and Flora Corilla Rooks; and his sisters, Geraldine Kent Hughes, Alice Kent and Katie Kent DaLee.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Kent; his sons, Christopher Kent (Carla) and Jason Kent; his sister Sandra Kent; his grandchildren, Aaron Kent (Kelsey), Christopher Kent (Lauren Reed), Carl Kent, Brendon Kent and Cameron Kent; and his great grandchild Zoey Kent.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dryden Funeral Home (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dryden Funeral Home Chapel (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264).
