It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Daniel Hammonds of Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hammonds and Alice Hammonds; his sisters, Jewel Kearley (Neal) and Ella Kate Baswell (Bud); his nephew Johnny Kearley; and his niece Carol Baswell.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Sims Hammonds; his daughters, Jayda Clemons (Jeff) and Jona Suco (Manny); his grandchildren, Taylor Suco, Bryant Clemons (Caitlin), Landon Suco, Ethan Clemons (Mary) and Peyton Suco; his great grandchildren, Hunter Clemons and Camilla Suco; and his brother-in-law Wayne Sims (Carolyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
