He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Moore and Maggie Moore; and his daughter Mary Darlene Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Betty Moore; his sons, Michael Moore (Gayla) of Anniston and Richard Moore (Ann) of Altoona, Alabama; his grandchildren, Tim Merritt, Monica Skillman, Heather Brooks, Paige Hardcastle, Dustin Addison and Bryan Watson; his great grandchildren, Abigail Skillman, Breanna Skillman, Zackery Skillman, Olivia Brooks, Hailey Brooks, Mason Hardcastle, Spencer Hardcastle, Chrstian Addison, Zara Addison and Brayden Watson of Jordan Watson, J. P; and his sister Pat Chupp.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the football team at Wellborn High School.
