He was predeceased by: his children, Melissa Joy Hughes and Michael John Hughes; and his parents, William Hughes and Leta Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Hughes; his son Gavin Lee Hughes; his sister Verita Kay Jones; and his grandchild Bailey Hughes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
