He was predeceased by: his wife Maude Whittington; his son Seth Whittington; his children-in-law, Cathy Whittington, Danny Patterson and Charles Franklin; his siblings, Wesley Whittington, Wayne Whittington and Louise Wigington; and his parents, Clinton Whittington and Dovie Jane Whittington.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Patterson of Georgia, Cindy Woodard (Phillip) of Oxford and Heather Franklin of Florida; and his sister Sheryl Tillman. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Silver Chapel Christian Harmony Fellowship Church. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
