She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Owings; and her parents, Clark Screws and Florence Screws. She is survived by: her son Darrell Owings (Jamey); her brothers, Tommy Screws, Davie Screws and Buddy Screws; and her grandchildren, Katelyn Owings, Megan Owings and Wesley Owings.

A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetary (730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207).
