We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary LaShum Lawton of Anniston, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George LaShum and Lois LaShum; and her siblings, Barbara LaShum, Martha Creed, Rodney LaShum, Ray LaShum, Bobby LaShum and Tommy LaShum.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Lawton IV and Mandy Green (Jason); her grandchildren, Rebekah Roper and Rynn Roper; her brothers, Jimmy LaShum, Johnny LaShum, Phillip LaShum and Lonnie LaShaum; and her former husband Fred Lawton III. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anniston's First Baptist Church (851 Morton Rd, Anniston, AL 36205). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Wells Celestial Gardens Cemetery (496 Main St, Sumiton, AL 35148).
