Mary E. Champion Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Mary E. Champion of Anniston, Alabama, born in Cedartown, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Collins and Freda Collins; her siblings, Vanda Laura Collins of Joseph William, John Stoney Collins, Woodrow Wilson Collins and Eloise Collins Hilton; her husband John Wesley Champion, Sr.; her children, Mary Eloise Champion Lowery, Joseph William Champion and Lester Wayne Champion; and her grandsons, Wes Champion and David Steinert.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Champion Fabrizi, John W. Champion, Jr. (Beverly), James Martin Champion, Richard Sherman Champion (Suellyn) and Robert Garfield Champion; and her children-in-law, Nellie Champion, Donna Champion and Jimmy Lowery. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Eulaton First Baptist Church, St. Jude's Hospital, and Aveanna Hospice.
