She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Stanley Woody and Emily Elizabeth "Castleberry" Woody; and her husband Hugh H. "Buzz" Elliott. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Daniel (Tim) of LaGrange, GA; her stepgrandson Parker Daniel of Newnan, GA; and her siblings, Faye Duke (George) of Anniston, AL, Stanley Woody (Kay) of Douglasville, Shirley Reeves of Kennesaw, GA, Larry Woody (Linda) of Mableton, GA and Linda Stephens (Dennis) of Acworth, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213).
