She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Stone and Louise Stone; and her brother Tommy Stone. She is survived by: her husband Venson Houston; her sisters, Teresa Montgomery (Larry) and Martha Finley; her children, Glenn Houston (Linda) and Tammy Haynes (Bruce); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Houston, Cory Houston (Melissa), Kandice Hurtovenko (Quinn), Kurtis Quandt, Anna Lee Weathers (Jordan), Mary Elizabeth Burton (Davis), Sarah Haynes, Caitlin Moody (Bill) and Will Haynes (Melodie); and her great grandchildren, Ava Houston, Reilly Houston, Wyatt Houston, Kylie Quandt, Ada Weathers, Harper Weathers, Mary Elliot Weathers, Warner Haynes, Hazel Haynes, Ezra Burton, Louise Moody and William Moody. She is also survived by Gran, as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made to Jacksonville State University's Child Development Center.
