With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther M Owen (Anniston, Alabama), who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Marvin, Sr. and Josephine Owen; his sisters, Rosa Hobbs and Betty Sprayberry; his brother-in-law Herman Sprayberry; and his in-laws, Denzil and Blanche Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Williams; his daughter Laryn Morhard (Chris); his granddaughters, Della-Mae and Mavis; his brother Clark; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Owen and Clyde Hobbs; his daughter Rhonda Stover; and his granddaughter Emily Gehlman (Nick). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Luke and I go back for over 60 years. He was my best friend and like a brother to me. We both loved the outdoors and I could write a book on all our adventures together over all those wonderful years. Luke was a very special, great, loving, and kind person.
