He was predeceased by: his parents, Eth Welch and Mavis Welch; and his siblings, Linda, Barbara, Beverly, Larry and Randy Welch.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Tasha Smith, Carrie Smith and Tony Bard; his close friend Felicia Rooks; his siblings, Amma Haynes, Rougel Wilson, Diane Shappard, Michel Welch and Willie F. Welch; and his parents-in-law, Mary Jones, Kenneth Wilson and Booker T. Shappard. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
