He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Alexander; his grandson David Smith; his father Riley Alexander; his siblings, Nell Alexander and Jerry Alexander (George Alexander); his mother Claire Gossett; and his daughter Kimberly Ann Alexander.

He is survived by: his daughter Shanda Alexander; his brother Tony Alexander; his niece Cheyenne Alexander; and his nephew Kenny Alexander.
