She was predeceased by: her husband Hayden Champion; her son Hayden Terry Champion; her son-in-law Leon Woodard; her parents, Joseph Worthy and Emma Worthy; and her siblings, Myrtle Vickers, Tula Wilson, Nell Worthy, Jewel Denson, Mildred Cash, Peggy Key, Joy Brown, Dallas, Joseph, Jack and Bobby Worthy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jerri Nell Woodard and Karen Jean Champion; her grandchildren, Phillip Woodard (Cindy), Tammy Moreno (Ron), Jeffrey Woodard (Kim), Connie Champion, David Champion (Crystal), Fredrick Becker and Tiffanie Becker; and her daughter-in-law Karen L. Champion. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
