He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johnson and Ruby Johnson; his former wife Eleanor Cater Johnson; his grandson Matthew Shane Johnson; and his siblings, Grover Johnson, Clarence Johnson, Mary Tyson, Joyce Mims and Linda Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Johnson; his sons, Barry Johnson (Selina) and Shane Johnson (Lorri); his grandchildren, Kyle Johnson, Kaci Barker (Ryan), Leah Craft (Nate), Seth Johnson and Aaron Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Brynlee Johnson, Laney Barker and Brayden Wells. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anniston Memorial Funeral Home (3865 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
