He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna Rae Turner; his parents, Gay Langley Bussey and Howard Early Turner; and his siblings, Lawrence Hughes Turner, Howard E. Turner Jr., L. J. Turner and Helen Turner Senn.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Turner Marvets (Tom Marvets), Johnny Frank Turner, Jr. (Robert Clinard), Christina Turner Rhodes and Rexanne Turner Johnson (Paul Doty, Jr.); his grandchildren, Derek Phillips, Rachel Phillips, Allie Johnson, Devin Johnson (Lisa) and Sophia Johnson; and his siblings, Billy Turner and Abbie Turner Wiersma.
