He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnnie Clifton Hayes, Sr. and Mabel Dennis Hayes; his brother Joseph Moody Hayes; his wife Jo Ann Hayes of Anniston; his brother James Thomas Hayes (Kathy) of Goodwater; his brother-in-law Randall Fleming (Barbara) of Houston, Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Milam (Mark) of Goodwater, Rene Moore (Jeremy) of Augusta, Crystal Grooms (Eric) of El Dorado, Traci Benefield (Brad) of Towanda, Kansas, Kim Hayes of Andover, Kansas, Tom Hayes (Lynn) of Guntersville, David Hayes of Birmingham and Bishop Hayes (Cassandra) of Sylacauga.
