He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Moody and Mary Turner Moody; and his brothers, Jeremiah and Richard Moody. He is survived by: his wife Linda Moody; his children, Kevin (Antuonette), Charles (Alisha), Nicole (Norris) and Erica (Reggie); his grandchildren, Le'Niya, Kevin Jr., Akentia, Isaiah, Quindarius, Kaniejice, Quintavia, Quintaesha, Quinzae, Qvarius, Janiaz, Elijah, Rashad and Eliza; his great grandchildren, Montavious, Kaydence and Kaiser; his siblings, Edmond Moody, Rosa Squire, Annie Patillo, Betty Cruse (Stanley) and Mary Jones (Don); his nieces and nephews, Anthony Squire, Michael Cruse, Elizabeth Harvey, Sharon Patillo, Venus Brown and Christina Cruse; and his close friends, Lorenzo, Veronica Carter and James Williams. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anniston Funeral Service (630 S Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (1130 W 14th St, Anniston, AL 36201).
