He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Ledbetter and Virginia Ledbetter; his son Jeffrey Crossan; and his siblings, Elaine Howell and Dan Ledbetter.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ledbetter; his grandchildren, Shay Goad, Kendra Gilliam and Adam Goad; and his siblings, Joan Carter (Ralph) and Jerre Ledbetter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
