He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Dickson; his parents, Clarence Dickson and Nancy Dickson; and his brothers, Bobby Dickson and Sam Dickson.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Johnson (Barbie), Ginger Wooten (Timmy) and Shane Parker; his siblings, Sylvia Easterwood (Mike), Donna Gresham (Donnie) and Jerry Dickson (Becky); and his grandchildren, Heather Forbus (Trey), Kyle Townsend, Megan Townsend, Caitlyn Townsend, Joanie Toland (Justin), Karie Smith (Anthony) and Randi Owen Goodson (Chris). He is also survived by Ten great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
