He was predeceased by: his parents, James Childers and Mary Childers; his son Dewayne McClellan; his brother Alan Childers; and his mother-in-law Sarah McClellan.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Childers; his children, Angie Childers and Cheryle McClellan; his grandchildren, Ashley McClellan, Dakota Watts, Jasmine Watts and Jacob Dempsey; his great grandchildren, Haven Berdeaux, Harlyn Watts, Hendrix James Brock Watts and Denver Dewayne McClellan; his sister Marlene George; and his granddaughter Marlene. He is also survived by 8 nieces and 1 nephew.
