He is survived by: his children, Lori Penland, Patricia Penland, Steve Penland (Tina), David Penland (Toni), Jeffery Penland, Keith Penland (Bobbie) and Shane Penland; his grandchildren, Cris Harlin, Stephanie Noell, Jason Brown, Adam Brown, LeeAnne Miller, Josh Penland, Kevin Penland, Beth Harkins, Dustin Penland, Matt Penland, Brittany Noah and Toby Jinks; and his sisters, Sylvia McDonald, Shelby Moore and Lagida Smart (Wayne). He is also survived by fifteen great- grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
