He was predeceased by: his son James Edward Lee, Jr.; his sister Lucy Jane Lee Denson; and his parents, James Thomas Lee and Amzy Gamel Lee. He is survived by: his wife Martha Greene Lee; and his son Jonathan Edward "Jon" Lee (LaDonna). He is also survived by extended family including a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Eddie's memory to Parker Memorial Baptist Church or Anniston Fellowship House.
