She was predeceased by: her former husband James Lewis Ballard (Jimmie) of Anniston, AL; her parents, Daniel Lamar Jennings and Willie Naomi Hicks Jennings of Reform, AL; and her siblings, Harvey Jennings (Mary) of Hamilton, AL, Ann Jennings Moore (Arnold) of Old Fort, TN and Glen Jennings (Becky) of Mobile, AL.

She is survived by: her spouse Jimmie Ballard; her children, Jann Ballard Thompson (Jim) of Sylacauga, AL, Mike Ballard (Janne) of Houston, TX, Ken Ballard (Pam) of Oxford, AL and Joan Ballard Hardin of Anniston, AL; and her brothers, Jerry Jennings (Doris) of Reform, AL, James Jennings (Ann) of Oxford, AL, Doyle Jennings (Charlotte) of Cohutta, GA and Roger Jennings (Connie) of Glenco, AL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, and a large host of beloved nieces and nephews.
