He was predeceased by: his wife Mary 'Sissy Platt. He is survived by: his children, Jim Ramey, Dena Ramey Bowman (Jeff), Morgan Ramey (Carolyn) and David Ramey (Stacey); and his stepdaughter Angela Steinberg (Mark). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buddy Moore Charity Golf Tournament supporting children in need.
