Guy Sparks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guy Sparks of Oxford, Alabama, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Sparks and Irene Sparks; and his siblings, Charlene Nieman and Scott Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Becky Sparks; his children, Brandi Pointer (Jared) and Jared Sparks (Amber); his grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren Pointer, Mackenzie and Micah Sparks; and his brothers, Gary Sparks (Marcella) and Jim Sparks (Pat). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Golden Springs Baptist Church (3 Robertson Rd, Anniston, AL 36207). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory be made to Gideons International or, Samaritan's Purse.
