She was predeceased by: her husband Richard B. Emerson; her son Richard B. Emerson, Jr.; her grandson Scott B. Thomas; and her great grandchild Zachariah Emerson. She is survived by: her daughters, Eleanor E. Loring (Rick) and Virginia E. Hopkins (Chris); her daughter-in-law Kathrine Clewis Miller; her grandchildren, Kyle C. Emerson (Cecilia), Kathrine E. Mitchell (Sydney), Stuart A. Emerson (Courtney), Judson Thomas (Raeanna), Trent Thomas (Caitlin), Thomas M. Hopkins (Jacquelyn) and Richard B. Hopkins (Shannon); and her nieces and nephews, Robin Emerson (Georgia), Anne Williams (Jim), Harriet Carson and Helen Savage (Jim).
