He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lee Cobb and Sadie Pettus Cobb; and his siblings, Eston Cobb, Lawrence Cobb, Donald Cobb, Louise Poss, Claude Pettus and Stanley Cobb.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Harris Cobb; his children, Tracy C. Shaw (Gary Thorne) and Joel R. Cobb; his grandchildren, Nicholas Allen Shaw (Kelsie), Caitlin Michelle Cobb, Faith LeAnn Shaw, Mallory Rae Cobb and Carrie Brooke Shaw; his great grandchildren, Blakely Hope Shaw and Kamden Ray Shaw; and his sister Mary Catherine Ligon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mr. Cobb's honor to Quad Cities Volunteer Fire Department, 4444 Highway 9, Anniston, AL 36207.
