With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Eleanor Miller (Anniston, Alabama), who passed away on November 24, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Miller Sr.; her son Bill Miller Jr.; her parents, Horace Jones and Mary Frances Jones; and her siblings, Jean Martin and Ripp Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Teresa Miller (Bill Miller Jr.); her grandchildren, Casie, Joel Spencer, Abby, Travis Mattox, JonRiley Miller, Josh Whitley (Michelle) and Justin Whitley (Maggie); and her great grandchildren, Miller Spencer, Elsie Mattox, Memphis Spencer, Georgia Mattox and Ledger Whitley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (542 W 52nd St, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to the JSU Foundation for the Bill Miller Photography Memorial Endowed Scholarship in honor of Doris E. Miller.
