He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Cotton" Smith and Rachel Smith; and his brothers, Harold and Lonnie Smith. He is survived by: his children, Joyce Fundaburk, Alan Smith (Darla) and Cindy Hall (Daniel); his grandchildren, Joseph Barnwell (Angela), Shane Smith (Michelle), Ashley McDermott (Tyler), Holli Renfroe, Hope Renfroe, Brian Smith (Shelbi Peters), Tabatha Gann, Naomi Gann (Rick Raney), Harper Bronson, Anderson and Samuel Hall; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Loralie Barnwell, Avari, Gavin and Tyson Smith; and his sisters, Neva Estes (Marvin), Nadine Buchanan (Larry) and Violet Hamilton (Terry).
