She was predeceased by: her husband Declan P. "Deke" Foy; her parents, Walter and Pud; and also Jessie Mae Carter. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Ann Johnson (David) and Allison Deann Sams (Lance); her siblings, Walter "Sonny" Carter Jr and Mary Joyce Heard (Bill); and her grandchildren, Dawson, Molly K. Johnson, Patrick and Kinsley Sams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Susan G Colman Breast Cancer Foundation and The Still Magnolias.
